Fun Fact
On March 3, 1913, more than 8,000 women's suffrage supporters marched on Pennsylvania Avenue, the first such march in Washington, D.C. The women were seeking to redress gender inequality, including the right to vote. The march became a milestone in the history of women's rights in the United States.
