March 12, 2015

Howdy! Welcome to the New Thursday Thirteen! We are anxious to see what you're writing about today. We love your photography, your eclectic poetry, your wisdom, quotes, book reviews, and even lists of the things on your desk!

So link up and join in the fun! No rules, just write 13 things. They don't even have to be related.

Here's a fun fact for the day:

On March 12, 1959, Congress passed the Hawaii Admission Act and U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed it into law. In June of that year, Hawaiin residents approved a referendum for statehood by a vote of 94% in favor.  Hawaii became the 50th state on August 21, 1959.

And here's Mr. Linky!

  2. I've been around longer than Hawaii has been a state. That's a sobering thought.
