April 7, 2016

Happy April! The Fool's Day is over and it's time now to those showers and flowers. I hope your spring is springing and that life is being kind to you.

Thursday 13 is an easy meme - just make a list of 13 things. We like long lists! But it could be a 13-line poem, or 13 lines from a book, or 13 ways to make your head spin backwards! It is all good, and all up to you.

So sign up with Mr. Linky after the little Fun Fact and we'll hop on by to see you!

Fun Fact

On April 7, 1940, the United States issued its first stamp ever to honor a black American. The 10-cent stamp was issued in honor of Booker T. Washington, an influential educator, public speaker, presidential advisor, and influential civil rights leaders in the post-Reconstruction South. Washington had passed away 25 years earlier.
