Here are two fun aviation facts:

On May 21, 1927, Charles Lindbergh landed in Paris, completing the first nonstop trans-Atlantic flight.

Five years later, on May 21, 1932, Amelia Earhart became the first woman to make a solo air crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, from Newfoundland to Ireland.
