January 18, 2018

Greetings! Welcome to Thursday Thirteen, the easy meme where all you do is make a list of 13 things on Thursdays.

Topics can range from books you like to collections to anything else you have on your mind. (We do try to keep it clean.) You can check out the topic list at the top of the blog if you need an idea.

Sign up with Mr. Linky below so we can come and visit and see your list!
Today's Fact

On January 18, 1788, the European colonization of Australia began as a convict-laden fleet of ships, known as the First Fleet, arrived in Botany Bay, Australia. The ships said for 250 days from England before finding land 15,000 miles away from home. Around 1,300 people, including 736 deported criminals, began new lives on the continent.

And here's Mr. Linky!

  1. They couldn't ship convicts to the US of A anymore, I recon. I look back at the hideous karmic debt load in the European expansion across the globe, and shake my head....

Welcome to Thursday Thirteen, and thanks for playing!
